Nanoscale Components has commissioned the world’s first modular GWh-scale roll-to-roll prelithiation equipment.  Nanoscale’s breakthrough electrochemical process uses a safe, low-cost Li-salt, unlike other hazardous methods using lithium metal.  Our novel technology easily integrates into the cell manufacturing process. 

The prelithiation cost is low enough and the energy gains high enough that the final cell cost/kWh is reduced.  

The process is effective with a range of anode materials, from pure graphite to the world’s most advanced silicon materials.
